Results of Overnight in Taylor Trask Museum (Feb. 2, 2008)

We had a great night of adventure. Our guests got great photos and several had been poked, by our playful spirits. Our guests arrived at 10:00p.m. and a brief history of both establishments were given by Ric Cone, Curator. Ghost Hunters A lecture on "how to be a ghost hunter " & use of ghost hunting tools was given by Janice Williams, lead paranormal investigator. We began our investigation in the tea shop. Many were drawn to an area towards the back of the shop when they felt and icy cold sensation pass them. Hairs on their arms and back of neck stood straight up, followed by the aroma of a pipe. Something was in the room with us. As quickly as it entered, it left. This got everyone's adrenalin pumping. Ghost Hunters We continued our journey to the 2nd floor bed & breakfast suites. As you entered the doorway you knew you weren't alone. We made our way to the back bedroom where the spirit of Capt. Taylor & Abigail have been known to roam. One of our guests, standing in a corner of the room felt a cold presence, then a quick poke in the back. With a sounds of humming & whispers coming from behind him. At the same time, a person across the room spotted a shadowy figure behind him. A photograph was taken, and a dark shadowy figure was present. Later in the evening 2 of our other guests experienced pokes, on the other side of the room. They got great photographs of faces coming through, and lots of large orbs. In the Taylor Trask Museum everyone split up, and sat quietly listening to the sounds of the house. The silence of the house broke when someone on the 2nd floor screamed when they felt something bumped into them. Many of us waited patiently for the Pram to move, provoking "joey" to play. Was he stopped because of the burly type man photographed standing near the pram? Photo in gallery. We all had a great night of adventure. Not all the evidence is in. EVP's are still being listened too, and films being reviewed. We had a great night of adventure. Join us on our next one if your DARE!!!!

Where: Taylor Trask Museum, Old North Street Shop, North Street, Plymouth MA.
When: Saturday February 2, 2008
Check in: 11:00 p.m.
The Taylor Trask Museum and Old North Street Tea Shop are North Street's two most haunted houses. Since the buildings are next to each other the group will split in two (one group in the Trask Museum, one in the Tea Shop). Then after the allowed time, the groups will switch so that everyone gets to see and investigate each house. The Tea Shop is inhabited by a very distinct spirit named Captian Taylor. The house was built in 1725 by Juda West, later purchased by the Captain. Captain Taylor eventually looses his life to the sea although, many believe that he has come back to claim what is rightfully his. As a Bed & Breakfast many guests have stayed the night, and many strange events have been reported.

The Taylor Trask Museum is no longer used as a museum and is said to have a few spirits. The youngest "Joey" moves a pram about the building. There is also a "lady in white" that patiently waits waits for her loved one's return.

Overnight in Isaac Winslow house (Oct. 13, 07

Check-in was at 11:00 p.m. and as our guests began to settle in, they were briefed on the history of the house, and how to hunt ghosts. They also learned about some the the equipment and were broken down into groups of 5. Each group was assigned to a room. Time was allowed in each room for taking photos and using some equipment, and then it was quiet time, a time for people Paranormal Investigation to listen, feel and even smell for any spirits that may be lingering. Each room was done the same. We also had infrared cameras which flashed and took a picture any time it sensed any motion, and video cameras rolling in every room all night. At one point of the night during "quiet time" one group of people felt a significant temperature drop in the room they were in, and felt as if something was moving across the floor. One of our paranormal investigator guests felt something holding his arm and described it as if he was getting his blood preassure taken. The infrared camera flashed just as he had experienced it (note his expression in the photo to the, left). Each room was pitch black, besides the occasional camera flash, and when flashlights were used to move from room to room. Another Paranormal Investigation investigator experienced someone whispering in her ear. She kept turning her head to try to get clarity of what the voice was saying (note picture, right). In another room someone had seen a small person dart by the doorway, but when he had run out to see who it was, no one was there. He also experienced a dramatic drop in temperature when he walked through the doorway. EVP was conducted and a little girls voice Paranormal Investigation was captured. The little girl sounded as if she was singing. Our infrared camera also picked up someone staring through a window. Is that a patriot? (note the man looking through the window with the tri-cornered hat, left) The building was owned by a loyalist. With the use of a Ouija board investiators were able to bring fourth a young spirit named Judith who died when she was 4 by a fire. Was it her roaming the house? The investigation went on until 5:00 a.m. Everyone got a chance to be a paranormal investigator. As the sun began to rise, the house began to quiet and we said our goodbyes. There are many already looking forward to the next investigation, as one is already being planned for Plymouth MA. As more info comes from our guests more we'll post.

Plympton MA Investigation (Sept. 1, 2007)

Last week our group had recieved a phone call from a man who worked as a painter and was at the time painting a very spiritually active house. The estate was being sold and the owners wanted it painted inside and out. As the painters painted late into the evening many strange events began to take hold. The first event noticed was strange loud banging that echoed through the house. Then doors began to open and close by themselves, even locked doors began to open and close uncontrollably. Finally a presence was seen walking down the hall way. The next day, furniture was being moved out of the house. As they attempted to remove a piece of furniture from the house, two doors closed simultaneously. When they tried another attempt, the same happened. The painter, Adam, talked about these strange events with the owner of the house. We were called to investigate.

SATURDAY OCTOBER 13TH

May 7th investigation

Our group recently ventured to the historic Issac Winslow House in Marshfield Massachusetts, where it is said that Penelope Winslow still wanders the halls.

During daylight hours the old house has a very pleasant and welcoming feel to it, but that all changes when night falls. When we entered the house at around 7:30 p.m. that is when most of the activity was occuring.

all night we had great EMF readings, and at a few places, our infrared thermometer showed that the temperature had droped down to 10 degrees in a matter of seconds! We also had very strange activity with a certain old chair. We entered the dining room and began our EVP, but when we finished and went to leave the room, there was an old antique chair in the doorway. There's no way the chair could have been there while everyone was walking through that doorway.

As for EVP we did manage to record one voice. At one part in our tape it sounds like someone either whispering or crying. We plan on running the tape on audio editing equipment to enhance the volume and look for specific sound waves.

We all came to the conclusion that the Issac Winslow house has at least one active spirit inhabiting it, and we believe it to be Penelope Winslow.

April 8 & 9 investigation

Over the weekend, the group traveled to Billerica Massachusetts in search of old Dudley Rd. legend has it that on this road, there used to be an old Insane Asylum, which today is left abandoned, a Nunnery, where two nuns were murdered, and a house built on a marsh that is constantly sinking and where two people have died.

Dudley rd. is a long narrow dirt road located in the rural countyside of Billerica MA. while driving down the road we immediately noticed the nunnery but didn't see the asylum or sinking house. The group stopped at a conservation area where we met a young man who said that he heard all the stories of Dudley rd. but was told they were all myths. Were they?

The group then decided to explore the Nunnery seeing as how it was the first place we came across.

The front of the building was decorated with beautiful arcitechture, statues and arches, although when we got to the back we noticed it was a little different. The buildings behind the main entrance looked very old and had strange barred windows. Why on earth would a convent need barred windows in the beautiful, peacful town of Billerica? Well perhaps we found the asylum.

the group continued to explore when one member noticed some type of strange metal piece on the roof of one building. Altough there was no wind whatsoever this "thing" was spinning at a very mechanical pace.

Later on two other members heard voices coming from another building. (There are currently no people staying in the buildings).

Another strange incident occured when we were analyzing a strange doorway in a mound of dirt that led to "nothing". Suddenly a bright, fast moving ball of light flew by all of us and disappeared into the woods.

After the group left the Convent, we decided to travel up the road a bit more. It was then that we came across the "Sinking house", and it was definately sinking. The house was up to the windows in marsh. None of the members had any experiences here but just the sight of the house was creepy enough!

So, if you ever find yourself driving through desolate Billerica Massachusetts be on the lookout for Old Dudley Rd. Our paranormal group finds it to be very active with spirit energy.

February 4 & 5 investigation

Over the weekend we visited Historic and Haunted Rehoboth MA. Our first visit was Rt. 44 where it is said that a dishoveled looking man wanders all hours of the night. He is often seen hitchhiking and when people in cars stop to aid him he dissappears right before their eyes!

Our next stop was Anawan Rock, the place where King Phillips tribe resided during the King Phillip War, and also where he was captured. This is said to be haunted by King Phillip himself along with some of his tribe. During our stay here we had noticed a very distinct smell of smoldering fire, althogh we were far from any houses and didn't see any smoke. The scent of smoke is very common at anawan rock. Others have reported sightings of Native American men and women wandering the woods surrounding Anawan Rock and dissappearing before their eyes.

We then Visited Rehoboth Villiage Cemetery, an old graveyard with tombstones dating back to the 1600's. The story goes that a strange man dressed in 1800's style clothing wanders aimlessly though the historic site. He is usually seen around one particular tombstone, which is that of Catherine, a woman he supposedly murdered during the time of his life. We had a very startling yet interesting experience while visiting Rehoboth Villiage Cemetery. We were getting ready to film for our local paranormal TV program, when one group member, Jess, noticed that she had left the tape for the video camera in the car. While Jess went back to get it the rest of the goup stayed at the c emetery and continued to look around. On her way back from getting the tape she just passing "Catherine's" tombstone when she heard very heavy footsteps walking behind her. she turned around to see which other group member was walking behind her only to find nothing but woods and more tombstones. When she finally caught up to the rest of the group, who had bee on the far other side of the cemetery, she told them what happened and another group member, Jan, had said that while she was looking at the detail of one tombstones she heard a very raspy old man's voice from behind her say "bury me" she turned around to see if it was Bob, a member, trying to scare her but she was very much alone.

Our last stop in Haunted Rehoboth was at the old Hornbine School House, where you might want to look in the windows to see if there is a stern and strict teacher spirit along with her ghost pupils. We had another interesting experience while at the old school. All the windows had been borded up and the door was locked so we couldn't see inside, but we heard very loud dragging sounds coming from inside the building. They sounded almost like desks and furniture being moved around! We then walked to the back of the school where we found an old out house. The door of the out house also was locked but we were able to look inside through the moon shaped window. When we took a picture of the inside of the out house through the window we noticed that there were orbs covering the picture!

We found Rehoboth Massachusetts to be a very historic and haunted old town with alot of skeletons in its closets. If you ever find yourself passing through, you may want to be on the lookout for the dishoveled looking hitch hiker, King Phillip and his tribe, a man in 1800's garb calling "Catherine", or perhaps the Hornbine School Students!

If you live in a house or area you think is haunted, feel free to give us a call. We will investigate and research the history of your house free of charge and try to find out who it is that still inhabits it and maybe even get them to pass over to the otherside.
